Tour Itinerary :

Day 01: Bali to Mount Bromo Hotel

Ijen expedition team will pick you up from your hotel or airport in Bali then take you to the most western tip of Bali for about 3 hours by private car with AC then upon arrival in Gilimanuk harbor, proceed to take ferry to cross Bali strait for about one hours (1 hour ) to reach Ketapang ferry port in Banyuwangi (in eastern tip of Java). The trip goes through the rural landscapes of West Bali . At noon, We will arrive in Banyuwangi then We will continue our journey to Mt. Bromo for about 4-5 hours including having lunch at local restaurant on the way. Upon arrival in Mt. Bromo, You will stay at Cemara Indah Hotel or Lava View Lodge Bromo or Bromo Permai or  or similar

Day 02: Bromo Sunrise Tours – Banyuwangi

At 03.30:00am, The 4WD (JEEP) will take us to Mount Pananjakan where we’ll go to the best location to enjoy the sunrise. Mount Pananjakan is one of the best place in the edge of the Tengger caldera to enjoy best sunrise time. Afterward, the jeep will take us down to the slopes of Mount Bromo by crossing the ocean of sand and then you will climb the slopes of Mount Bromo by following the stairs up leading to the peak of Mount Bromo. Around at 08: 00am, the jeep will bring you back to the hotel for having breakfast, shower, loading bags to the car and then you will be escorted back to District of Banyuwangi or Bondowoso where Ijen Crater is Located for about 4-5 hours including stop on the way for having lunch at local restaurant. Upon in Ijen Crater area or Banyuwangi, You will stay at Arabica Home Stay or mirah hotel

Day 03: Ijen Blue fire Tours – Bali Island

Around 12:30 am, We will go to the village of Licin and then continue to the slope of Mount Ijen, passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining on the island of Java with giant ferns and plants, big trees, this journey takes approximately 1 hour from the hotel by private car. Arriving at the parking area of Mount Ijen, approximately 1 until 1.5 hours will be required to ascend slope of mount Ijen to reach peak of Ijen Crater and along the path, You will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady. Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulphate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like doom. The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. this is really dangerous job. Here also, You will enjoy the Blue fire and beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth. After You enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area where our vehicle is waiting for escort you back to the City of Banyuwangi for having lunch at a local restaurant. BALI-BROMO-BALI 2D/1N

Day 01: Bali – Ketapang Ferry Port – Mt. Bromo hotel (East Java) ketapang_ferry_port_1Our staff will pick you up from Bali hotel then drive to most western tip on Bali/Gilimanuk ferry port for about 3-4hours and the cross Bali strait by ferry to reach Ketapang Ferry Port in Banyuwangi for about 1hour. From ketapang ferry port, we will continue to drive to Mt. Bromo area for about 4-5 hours by passing rural landscape, small cities, rice field, rain forest, plantations & beaches. Upon your arrival in Mt. Day 02: Tengger Caldera – Mount Bromo – Surabaya bromo1_400At 4 am the 4WD will bring you to the world’s most famous view point at Mount pananjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru in the back ground is breathtaking the play light shadow with sunrise reach Mountain succession from the top to the bottom and the usual fog of the caldera. Afterward the adventure will be continued to an active Mount Bromo volcano by horse riding. About at 08:00, the 4WD vehicle (jeep) will bring you back to the hotel for breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags, to the vehicle then transfer out to Surabaya. We will leave Mt. Bromo about at 09:00 or 10:00 to Surabaya and it will take about 3-4hours. /Depend on traffic situation. (B)

Ijen crater blue fire tour

Ijen crater blue fire tour is one of the challenging adventure activities that can be an option to add a beautiful impression at holiday time. Climb to the crater of Ijen is very different from climbing in other areas. Here, the tourists will see the Blue fire, Blue acid lake and miners carrying sulfur from the crater of Ijen brought to the processing site that has a considerable distance.

Ijen Volcano or Mount Ijen is an active volcano located in Banyuwangi regency, East Java, Indonesia. This crater has a height of 2,343 m and has erupted four times (1796, 1817, 1913, and 1936). Ijen Crater is located at an elevation of 2,368 meters above sea level. Interestingly is this crater is located in the middle of the largest caldera on the island of Java. Above the crater of Mount Ijen looks very beautiful. This crater is a large lake with a bluish green mist and sulfur fumes are very fascinating. In addition, cold air with a temperature of 10 degrees Celsius, even can reach temperatures of 2 degrees Celsius, will add to the sensation. What the adventure look like?

One of the visitors attention in the area of ​​the crater, the existence of Blue fire traditional sulfur miners. The workers dared to approach the lake to dig sulfur with simple equipment and then carried with a basket. The sulfur miners take sulfur from the bottom of the crater. Here the smoke is quite thick, but the degree necessary equipment such as gloves masks, they are still looking for molten sulfur. The molten sulfur obtained from the pipe leading to the source of volcanic gases that contain sulfur. This gas is then piped out in the form of molten sulfur red and yellow sulfur after freezing. Once the sulfur is cut, the miners would carry through the path. Heavy burden borne between 80 to 100 kg. The miners are accustomed to bear this heavy burden while down the path on the cliffs of the caldera down the mountain as far as 3 kilometers.
